Screensavior is an installation composed of disused screens that have been dismantled and then reassembled in an attempt to bring them back to life. On these now silent surfaces, the artist engraves hands typing, scrolling and clicking using drypoint. These gestures, emblematic of our daily relationship with digital technology, become the last visible images, frozen on technologies that have reached the end of their life. The work poses a simple but profound question: what are our hands doing today? Between the memory of gestures and post-technological worship, the installation offers a moment of suspension, a process of restoration, material exploration and confrontation between the intimate and the technological
